I'm curious as to how boys feel about girls wrestling? Are most guys for co-ed wrestling or against it? It seems that everywhere you look online girls are clearly dominating mixed gender wrestling, but I want to hear from the guys too. Are your experiences the same?
I think girls should stick to wrestling each other. Co-ed wrestling isn’t fair for the boys! Girls are dominating inter gender mixed wrestling because boys are at a disadvantage every time we face a girl. The only difference I’ve noticed in this blog and personal experience is a boy actually being able to get a win against a girl. The score of 123-2 makes it seem like we win 1 or 2 percent of our matches against girls, but most boys have a 0% win rate against girls. Meanwhile girls have 100% win rates against boys, only losing to other girls.
ReplyDeleteWill you be making a similar post for girls to respond? I hear a lot of girls say they want to wrestle other girls because boys can’t keep up, but I don’t think that’s entirely true. You girls seem to have a lot of fun while you’re pinning us on the mats.
DeleteDon’t get me wrong, it’s fun pinning guys and winning, but once in a while when you want a challenge it kind of sucks that not enough girls are in wrestling to form a girls-only league. In the meantime, i guess the boys are just going to have to suck it up! Girl power!

But title ix does hurt boys, it takes away our natural advantages! We should be able to compete with girls because we’re bigger and heavier, making us stronger, but since we have to wrestle girls the same weight, all we have to rely on is strength without size. When a girl and a boy at the same weight with similar muscle mass wrestle each other the girl overpowers him every time. The average boy is stronger than the average girl thanks to our natural size, but facing girls in wrestling takes that away and we have to compete with girls at our own weight, meaning the girls are always stronger than the boys! And you girls are still crushing us despite all the discrimination you face, that proves how much of an uphill battle boys are in during mixed wrestling matches.
DeleteI don’t know what you mean by blanked, but I didn’t say you were a bad wrestler. What I will say is you’re too cocky for someone who’s only wrestled one year. You may be undefeated against boys, but you still have a losing record against girls, showing you’re not as good as you think you are. And I may never have beaten a girl in wrestling before, but you’ve only wrestled boys up to sophomores, I wouldn’t let you humiliate me like you did to them!
I would say she has every right to be cocky. Going undefeated against boys her first year against guys older than her, though expected, is very impressive. And who doesnt have a losing record against girls their first year? Whats your record? 0-100? LOL

I know girls would probably dominate wrestling even more if scissor holds were allowed, but at least one boy must have been able to put you in a scissor hold, and I’ve never escaped one from a girl, so it can’t be that easy to break out of a boy’s scissors.

DeleteIn my personal wrestling experience i haven't wrestled many girls but i've always been at their level in the average. Anyways i've never used a scissor cause i usually rely more on my upper body, why guys can't use It and why is impossible escape by that? There's a way to escape?

Girls aren’t dominating boys at wrestling, there is only a handful of girls that wrestle compared to many many boys, just because those girls happen to beat on us don’t mean girls are taking over or dominating wrestling. Listen most girls don’t won’t and can’t wrestle, most girls are still pussies. And in all honesty if you were to say right get most girls to wrestle boys I wouldn’t have a problem, we would win and that would be that (if girls who don’t know how to wrestle were givin a match against a boy who didn’t know how to wrestle, the boy would win I’m pretty sure). So yeah yeah you have compiled video evidence showing mixed matches result in an almost white wash victory for girls who wrestle and yes yes we see it and experience it on the mats, but as 21 says we face the same girls multiple times, so it make girls sound better than they really are. You have 130 odd videos but they aren’t 130 different girls, it only like 80 girls. I’m now 0-11 against girls which sucks, but I’ve only ever faced 4 girls so really it’s 0-4 and then those weren’t fair 21 hits the nail again, title ix does hurt boys, it takes away our natural advantages, weight cut is biased to girls plus girls cog is lower in the hips and they have wider hips so it’s harder to take them down and harder for us to defend takedowns, and on the ground this works doubly for girls advantage because they are ridiculously flexible and mobile. But even then I think boys would win it’s just girls who wrestle cheat by doing extra training, they don’t just go to wrestling sessions, they do extra practice and gymnastics or dance too and hit the gym crazy to build strength, with one agenda - to beat up and bully boys for their feminists girl power crap, it shows no respect and is not fair. If they just went to the odd wrestling class and nothing else I reckon we would win. Every girl wrestler I have seen is a boy beater and with it comes bitchy cocky bullying arrogance, Selena and Crystals words are a fine example of this, but 21 bro be careful with your words about wrestling Crystal and humiliating her, next season she’ll not be a rookie any more, if she make varsity even if grade 9 that means she could well go up against senior highs and as much as it pains me to say it dude, if she went against you tale of the tape says the smart money would be on her, there is plenty of videos of middle girls beating seniors that Selena has posted here, videos don’t lie, but don’t get big headed Crystal and Selena (or at least any more than you already are) because if it were a fair match 21 and other boys would win!

DeleteSelena if you have say 500 boy wrestlers in a region, for that 500 you would be lucky if there were 20 girl wrestlers. say each one of those girls wrestled a boy and for arguments sake fair enough each girl won so that’s 20 wiins for the girls now there are still 480 boys so if you took 480 girls off the street (most of whom ar pussies)and got them to wrestle the boys, there would be 480 boy wins, so how the hell can you say girls dominate? Your comparison isnt fair in the first place. Why would you match up 480 girls who don’t wrestle against guys who do wrestle? If you put it that way, it would be fair if i pit up 480 guys who dont wrestle against girls who do, and then we can see who wins. But even then, i would argue that the girls who don’t wrestle would still have a good chance of winning against the guys who do. Take crystal for example. In her first season fresh with no wrestling experience she was already undefeated against guys who had years of wrestling experience under their belt.

That’s rich saying I’m not fair! How is that so? I guess you little girl brain can’t figure with reason! So lets start again, taking the scores you have recorded. For simplicity we have 130 matches, ~130 clear undisputable wins for girls. But while there are 130 different boys, there aren’t 130 different girls! Lets take an estimate and say each girl wrestler you have videoed appears in approx. 4 matches in your data. So in effect you have the results of 130 matches by 30 girls. So these girls beat up 130 guys, ok fine you have the proof can’t argue with that and we all know it’s a regular occurrence. But!!!!! For a fair battle to show who is best like you wanted it has to be 1 on 1. Now the 30 girls ok easily win all their matches, but you need to replace these girls for the other 100 matches for fairness and to be realistic. And I saying that now it is fair boys would win you reckon that that the girls who don’t wrestle would still have a good chance of winning against the guys who do, and you say look at Crystal as evidence, 21 knows she’d beat him, I’m 17 weigh 165 have over a 30lb advantage, do I think I could beat her if I were to face her next season? Possibly not, but I’d damn as heck train to try and win no matter what effort she puts in I will put in double as I know would 21 just to shut her up! But surely anyway she is one of the girls who do wrestle, last season was her first season and she beat up some guys sure, but I bet she didn’t just show up for 1 practise then start beating on us all! No coach enters a wrestler into a tournament until they are ready, so she must have trained and prepared to get to the appropriate skill level first. But you have a girl loss from an exhibition of a girl who couldn’t wrestle being beaten by a boy so these 100 girls wouldn’t beat the boys, unless they had done other martial arts or sports like gymnastics and ok a couple of girls on here have said they wrestle unofficially and have beaten boys so give you the benefit of the doubt and say 10 wins, the final result in a truly fair comparison would be 90-40 for the guys, oh yeah boy power!!!!! how does that feel Selena to know that in a fair contest you girls are the losers!!!!!

You can say whatever you want but I know the girls actual have evidence of the wins by everyone’s experience here, and the videos. The boys have.. not much.
It matters because you say girls are dominating wrestling yet clearly most wrestlers are boys and most matches are between boys most honors go to the boys most focus is on the boys. Now the number of girls who wrestle are a tiny fraction of wrestlers. So you have no glory you have honor. Ok you girls who wrestle say and do undeniably, indisputably crush us, your male opponents, and you bully us about it by posting the videos, posting the scores of remorseless bot bashing…proof of male victories? well there isn’t any, I can’t find 9 videos of guys winning let alone 90, as you darn well know, but that’s not to say boys are rubbish, even our best Olympic champion wrestler, Jordan Burroughs high school record against girls is 0-3 and that was when there was a tenth of the girls wrestling than there are now but he is Olympic gold medallist so you can’t say we are no good! But back to the question, there are so few girl wrestlers to make it statistically significant you would have to bolster their team. In your videos you in effect have a team of 30 girls wrestle 130 boys, and well ok your videos show the result, it’s a slaughter, a wipeout 30 girls destroy 130 boys… completely, but for an unbiased survey it has to 1 on 1 so to prove your girl power and girls are better than boys you HAVE to bolster your team with 100 other girls. Now you could say, ok bring in the middle school girl wrestlers - to make up high school varsity teams middle school girls are not uncommon, and yes they beat the guys up too, but they already make up some of the 30 in your team so they are therefore already included, so now you have to have girls who don’t wrestle against our dudes wrestling team, to give an unbiased match, and here we will win, maybe not against some gymnasts or girls who practice other martial arts or sports but still it’s a fair bet to say boys win 90-40, boys still dominate wrestling we are still on top it is still a man’s sport! That’s all I’m saying.

And like you said, most of these girls are much younger. So I ask you, who has the advantages here? Despite being severely underrepresented and younger, the girls still crush it. That's girl power for you.

I definitely think he’s right. There’s already a ton of videos on the blog where the girl pins the boy in less than a minute. You might want to start keeping track of how often that happens, I don’t think the matches are going to get any less one sided.
